The theme for the show in 2026 was Celebrating 100 years of forestry.
Kielder Forest celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026. Planting began in 1926, to provide timber for the nation, after concerns about depleted timber stocks. The 140,000-acre forest is England's largest man-made forest, spanning North Northumberland and a part of Cumbria. Also within the forest, between 1975 and 1981, a large section of the land was cleared and flooded to create Kielder Water.
